"Rather than waiting for permission or certainty, these pieces reflect the slow process of building a place for yourself, one decision, one painting, one small act of conviction at a time."

A Seat at the Table is a collection about belonging on your own terms. It grew from my experience of moving through the world as a woman artist, choosing an unconventional path, and quietly trusting that there was value in making work that felt true to me. Rather than waiting for permission or certainty, these pieces reflect the slow process of building a place for yourself, one decision, one painting, one small act of conviction at a time.

Each work is built through expressive, digitally hand-painted brushstrokes that carry as much feeling as they do form. Marks are layered, interrupted, and rediscovered, mirroring the uncertainty, resilience, and reflection woven through the collection.

Together, these paintings are less about arriving at a destination than they are about claiming the space to keep creating, speaking, and showing up. Sometimes a seat at the table isn't offered, so you bring your own.
